: )
400+ miles .
I see everyone else was on a bagger .
Give you credit for doing it on your chop.
How much stuff did you have in their saddlebags ? : )
Looks like a nice group of bikes. Thanks for sharing .[
One of the ladies was riding a 1200 sporty, then Another on a can am spider, the bagger guys gave me some lip, saying try to keep up on the twisty roads. Lol no problem at all.
This group rides a ton of miles every year, most put 15k+ yearly on the seat. I actually didn't have anything in anyone's bags, I was planning on putting my coat in my dads tour pack but it never got warm enough for that. It was a brisk 48 degrees when I left the house at 8am, I think it made it to 70 by mid day. I got back home at about 7:45.
I rode dad's old 03 chopper from Cincinnati to Milwaukee for the 100 year home coming party, that was the longest I've ridden a non touring bike. The way out was great weather, we woke up to rain the last day and rode all the way in it.
With any luck this Sunday will be as nice, they have a mystery ride planned so I'll be doing another few hundred miles.
What's nice is among all the CvO limited $40k bikes mine is the one getting all the thumbs up and comments by passing cars.
