I have been getting a really thick, greyish graphite colored greasy splatter all over my rear wheel. It looks like ir's coming out of the primary/belt opening. I've replaced the tranny seals and primary gasket and thiss stuff keeps reappearing. Somebody help me please! I'm washing the thing as much as I'm riding it!

I get something like that after washing the bike and that area is still wet or after riding in the rain? It gets on the swing arm on primary side and wheel.

If the starter gasket was causing it, I'd assume I'd be getting oil in the starter from the primary, right? I've looked at the rear wheel to see if it could be a bearing but there's no sign of anything coming from there. It's splattering on the left swing arm and up on the fender to. I bet if I looked at the back of my left leg I'd have it there too!

I wish I had more money.
Sounds like some fine fine fine aluminum with a drop of oil. That would have the graphite appearance. Get it close to a magnet and see if it stick due to the metal being what it is.
