Get this for your bike. It will give you peace of mind. And a lot cheaper and better then the others out there.

It can be placed on anything and will track it for you if it's stolen, your bike, car, boat, etc. It's also waterproof. West Coast Customs uses it in their custom vehicles. Cost is $189.95. Make sure you go to their website and watch and listen to their videos. It's a great way to protect what you want to protect. In my case, my bike. It will tell you how fast what you installed it on is going and which direction as well as where it is now located. It works with your computer and mobile phone. :2thumbs:

The add says it's about the size of a deck of cards and hooks directly to the battery. I don't think I have room on mine to hook it up and keep it concealed. Also, I have heard that when the serious thieves pay you a visit, they will have the bike stripped before you could catch them. I hope I have been misinformed.

I think you have been correctly informed. I know if I were a thief and knowing that amount of wireless hardware out there the first thing I would do is disconnect the battery until I had a chance to look the bike over.

But that's just me... :hi:

GPS tracker app for the iPhone used to be free. They shut down the website, thought.

It was great when I went wandering. I would give a login to family. If I went missing they would know where to look.

The Android phones have Google Now or Google + or Some Google shit that you can list who you want to have ability to track your GPS Signal and see where you are on the map. I have thought about giving it to my fiancee so she can stop calling me asking where I am.... however when I leave town with the boys and my signal suddenly gets lost outside a gentlemen's club I thinK I will have too many questions to answer...I guess I have to live with the annoying call for now.

The app used to work on a pay as you go phone. It was $.35 a day for internet access. So I hid the phone in my truck in case it was stolen.

Then I would shove it in the windshield bag when I went wandering. Since I never told anyone where I was going it was nice if I got stranded or hit a deer or something on back roads.

I almost ran into a vulture one time on the back roads......whose things are HUGE up close when they are flapping trying to gain altitude!

Hooking it to the battery is easy and you do not have to hook it directly to the battery. You just use the hot wire and spice in somewhere. Hiding it is not easy, however it can be done. My Mastiff has places to hide things. Since it's waterproof, I can put it under the bike and it would be hidden with the other things there. Don't know about the other brands of bikes though.
