While in Kansas for the 10 year anniversary, kid brother, myself and another attendee,( who I wish I could recall his name,) rode up to Derek and Donna's store. We were given a complete tour of their place, and treated like long lost friends. I mentioned that I somehow managed to lose the beauty ring off my headlight somewhere in the state of Kansas, and inquired of Donna as to the chance of buying a new one. she looked at the headlight and determined it is not the original factory light. Then Derek disappeared into the rows of shelving loaded with parts and reappeared with a stack of rings from his wrist to his elbow, saying, "one of these might fit" . As luck would have it, the very first one was a perfect fit. As an added bonus to the visit, Marky Marc, and , I believe it was Curtis, happened to be visiting also. I never even got to touch the new ring because Marky had it and had it installed before I even got the chance to try ! We also need to find a replacement exhaust bracket for the brother's K9 ,and Derek had one bracket that he had made left, but he told us to take it and make a copy then send it back. Bottom line of all this is, The folks at Bigdogpartsking are the true salt of the earth ! I can't give enough praise to those two wonderful people !
