Got WirePlus in yesterday, Now What?

I got my Wireplus unit in from Jake yesterday and now don't know what to do with it. Meaning the bike has been riding fine without any issues what so ever. Turn the key, everything lights as it should. Press the start button bike starts right up. Ride and make a few stops, bike runs fine. What gives??? Just a week or so ago when I turned the key only the headlight would come on and I had to ride the bike about a mile or two before everything else just gave to life. I disconnected the EHC and cleaned it out and replaced the de-electic grease, and it still had the problem. But as soon as I ordered the WirePlus everything starting working as good as new. It's like you had a girl friend who knew she was going to be replaced because she won't blow you. And now that you found someone who would she can't keep your dick out her mouth:bang:

So do I replace the EHC now, or wait for the least bit of trouble again????

I strongly recommed that you bite the bullet now and install the Wire Plus. A little pain now will save you alot of grief later. It's a crap shoot, but I can guarantee you that your EHC won't take a shit on you until you are waaaay out in BFE, bet on it.

You can't put a price tag on the peace of mind that you will have next time your out and you don't have to sweat it everytime you throw a leg over- will it start? will I have lights? will I spend the afternoon on the side of the road? will I have to answer all of the stupid questions as to why such a nice bike won't run? will I lose my buzz before I make it to the next bar? is the tow truck driver a mass murderer?

I'd keep my girl friend and remain friend with the new just in case. If she fails you the back up will bail you out. :lol: :roll:

On a serious note, whatever makes you happy, trust what you have or bite the bullet. Now that I have it I would replace it for sure. Why wait and get left on the side of the road some 300 miles from home

Whatever makes you happy, trust what you have or bite the bullet. I would replace it for sure just to make sure I am going make a round trip where ever I go.

Bike is on the lift. shrink tubing with glue is sitting there.got the klein wire crimper. Now just need a good weekend and access to jake.also gonna put the dakota digital at same time.then I'll be posting why won't my bike start...electrical and I don't get along...unless ime doing the quick fix.....
