Got a Question??

Got the wires plus kit on my bike with The relay to keep original key. Did Rolling Thunder on Sunday, Ran great, Tried to start it yesterday and the relay is buzzing when I turn the key on and nothing comes on??? Checked battery connections, Cleaned em,everthing is good there, Battery is Good, Any suggestions????

Sounds like the buzzing relay for keeping the original key went bad. Did you try several times (cycling the key switch)? You can probably test the relay or get a warranty replacement.

Yup,tryed it a ton of times. I googled it, its a really common relay, car alarm place should have it,hunt one down tonight.

Good luck Scott probably just have to replace the relay like your thinking. Hope RT was good. Couldn't make it this year, wife had to go rescue a couple of dogs.. Cheers..

I always have a spare relay because they go bad quick. Amazon has super HD ones that seem to last.

That's for the key relay or starter? or both? Looks the same.

When I put the WP on my bike the relay lasted for 4 starts and then took a crap. I went to Auto Zone and bought one for around $4. That lasted about 6 starts. I then bought the "general" one on Amazon for $8 and it lasted about a month. I then bought the $19 Accel one and a spare and it's been on the bike now for over a year.... Of course I trashed the WP unit but still kept the relay on my new set up.

Bought new relay,not it. Checked everything that I could find, pulled headlight bulb (that I replaced Saturday night) sockets melted, everything lights up, but still won't start. Put jump box on it ,Bang. Battery (that I bought in Daytona at Walmart). So, I need a new socket and Battery. Hopefully.

Buy a LED from Curtis and be done with the headlight thing.... Walmart should give you a free new battery if it's less than a year old....
