Guaranteed by who lol.
lots of experience on here with fitment on virtually every brand.
Common sense that's who.
Don't be so dismissive, your experience does not supersede mine or anyone else's.
Being Big Dog puts the Avon brand on when they build them
is proof that they are guaranteed to fit properly, I have experienced the size difference problem my shop guy mentioned for myself, other brands say they are a specific size but
sometimes are actually slightly bigger than they say they are, every single tire is different from one another, this is chiefly a problem I know of for a fact with fat rear chopper tires.
On a bike we worked on, a chopper we put a new set of a specific brand tires that we liked overall, yet wasn't the stock brand tire the bike came with, the rear tire did not fit even though it was the same exact size the stock tires size was and the bike's frame was not modified as being the problem either, we were forced to change them out for a new set of tires, back to the brand the bike came with.
I'm not saying this will be the case with all bikes, every time, like with tires, every bike is different, it does happen a lot and that you have to be careful when buying tires, your best bet, have a shop order and install them that way if they do run into a fit problem they have to make it right, if you do it yourself, be prepared for the possibility of what I'm saying...
