Good ride today

Well, today I took the dog out for my longest ride yet. I went 314 miles, lol. Most of it was highways, and about 100 miles worth of interstate driving. I don't know about this thing on the extreme twisties..seems like I'm always dragging something.

I had a killer time though. Anyone else get out and ride today?

A friend on his Harley got a pic of me. Yes, I'm fat, but I was wearing 4 layers of clothes so that makes me look even fatter, haha. He was riding behind me in group formation, and I could see him in my peripheral vision. Next thing I know, he's riding right beside me, like hands free with a camera pointed at me.

This was taken on I-40 in Tennessee at 80 miles per. This was around 220 miles in to our 314 mile trip.

Great day in East Tennessee! Got out for an afternoon ride with my buddy after a 9am. run to Bass Pro in Kodak to meet up with a fellow forum member to buy a pillion. We rode out to the base of the Smoky Mountains and then back on 411 to Hwy. 129(Dragon) and cut back to Tellico(Calhoun's on the River) and back home. Perfect day even if it was cool, lots of bikes out!

Nice. We weren't too awful far from your home town there. We went from White House, TN, to Lebanon, all the way to Jamestown, to Byrdstown, and back through Livingston, Cookville, Lebanon again, and back to White House. Jamestown is North of Crossville...if we had gone more East and didn't head North we could have easily made it to where you are.

So, you went to the Dragon. It's not closed anymore?

Its all good in the areas you mentioned, we head out to Fall Creek Falls every spring at least once. I went to TENNESSEE TECH for four years in Cookeville and still have friends there. We try to hit LBL(we hunt there every year). Lots of good riding in Tn.

Good to have rolling pics.
Plus you can say the camera adds 10#.
Haha, no doubt on the 10 lbs.

I wanna get some more rolling pics, not wearing 4 layers of cloths. Something more casual like blue jeans and T-Shirt b/c that's the real way I ride.
