If you can not keep your dog in a heated storage area the next best thing is a CAR CAPSULE. You can find it for less then 300usd.
I live in a valley along a large river that has high humidity year round. In the Morning condensation would form on the engine parts pretty much every day year round. This has happened to every bike that I have had. I keep the dog in a shed detached from the house.
I have a ridgeback and it requires the 12' capsule.
Recommendations:
Buy two 6" "foam" toy footballs, slice them 3/4 through and put them on the mirrors. When you deflate the capsule the plastic will rest on the corner of the mirrors. When you deflate to take the bike out having the plastic rest on the mirror for a minute or two shouldnt be a big deal but if you have frequent power failurs ,like I do,get the footballs . More importantly! Watch the capsule fully deflat on your bike you will see the fan will lie flat on the ground with the discharge side of the fan not being able to exhaust into the "capsule" I know of a fire that started because of an axial fan falling flat on a floor of sawdust. I placed a boat fender strategically under the CAPSULE so that when it deflates the fan comes to rest on an angle and can exhaust into the capsule when the power is reestablished. You can use what you want instead of a fender just deflate a few times to see how the fan falls. Lastly you will see an option to buy a "power cionnection " for a battery charger. You do not need this. just leave the zipper open a bit and run your existing charger cord through the opening. The instructions tells you to leave the zipper partialy open anyway if you want more air exchanges. I recommend the product. Keeps all the dust off also. nice filter is provided with the fan.
