Good or bad idea

I recently had to replace my upper fork tubes :bang: due to a wear spots at the seal locations. Is it a good idea :up:to rotate the upper tubes once a year or is it a bad idea :down: to do this cause of the seals wear into a pattern? What is your thoughts forum. i just want to make them last longer and just thought of this......:loony:

You shouldn't have to. They should wear evenly. If you were getting wear in a particular spot then you need to remedy the cause of it.

everything is new except the lower fork section. just thought about it....HHMMM

I had to replace my uppers and lowers. check under your dust caps what happened with mine is water got into the seals and caused them to rust causing wear on my forks.
