I know my post on this pic was long. Did anyone read at the end where I asked if the EHC is in backwards? I realized yesterday that I can’t get that side cover back on with the EHC installed like it is now. I think I may have to turn it 180 degrees
Put it where ya gotta. As long as it stays tight your good.

Looks like the correct direction to me but it does look different than the tutorial. I would call BDM and show them the picture of what you have. They may see something obvious. Maybe they shipped you the incorrect mounting bracket?

Oh shit. You think it looks different than the tutorial? Ok, I’ll watch it again before I make the call today. Maybe I need new glasses.

Just watched it again. I definitely put it in the same way as the tutorial. The difference that I now see is that the bike in the video has a different design, regarding the EHC mounting area. His old EHC mounting holes (which receive the new bracket that comes in the kit) are closer to the battery than mine are. Mine are more to the outside edge of the bike, which ends up locating the EHC and harness plug almost directly below the frame. Therefore, I’m not left with any room to get the side cover back on. Interesting. I’ll make the call.

If anyone cares, lol, zoom in on the tutorial EHC area and then look at my area. Definitely different.

As long as the harness will not be stretched, move it. Location wont matter. Better to have the side covers fit than worry about where the EHC locates. Alien tape works wonders.

Not sure if you have room, but, I fabricated a bracket on the other side for fuses on one bike.

Made it out of aluminum and moved the fuses because they wouldn't fit under seat. Not sure if that idea will help Boss.

Like Hman said, not sure how much wiring or space you have to play with.

Yup. I’m back again‍♂. As mentioned before, thanks to everyone for all the previous help. I’ve had a bunch of great rides this fall. Unfortunately after tonight’s ride, she’s back up on the lift again. I haven’t bothered tearing into it yet but I’ve got some oil dripping off the bottom of the starter where it bolts on. Any suggestions as to what this issue might be?

Plugged vent in the primary…? Just a guess. Great to hear you got some good rides in

He meant to say how much oil did you put in it...only put 20 to 22 ounces in the primary...manual will say more but dont do what the manual says or oil will.come out around the starter...also on the end of your starter is a o-ring that seals it into the primary and that could be bad...or as Mick said your vent may be plugged up creating pressure in the primary
