Hey all, I started noticing a gold/yellowish color on my pipes around my heads.. Anyone know if or what will get them back to chrome ??? I see blue job mentioned for blueing. (mixed emotions about this product on web) They are not blue.
Thanks for input :)

Thats, one problem with custom made pipes, they don't have a heat shield ( double layer) like V&H ect. It is near imposible not to have some discoloring due to heat. The yellow means they are just not hot enough to turn blue (a good thing).

A product designed to remove bluieng, should remove amber or yellow.

Blue Job is good stuff. I used to sell it till they jacked up the price on me.
Blue Job is about as good as it gets.:2thumbs:

Try a product called Wenol - All Metal Polish, its good for brass chrome silver you name it. You can even use it to clean up hazing on those new plastic headlights
Its a pink paste in a orange tube (a10$ tube will last a very long time) start with a pea sized dab and work it around in circles when it starts to turn black its working then wipe off vigorously and presto what used to be chrome is again
I've found for best results make sure to get it all off - no residue
it may not be the easiest product to use but it gets the best results I've ever seen especially for discolored pipes

I pronounce it -- When-all --

I have the same "gold" coloring. Blue job didn't do a thing for me.....or my pipes. My have to try the Wenol. Bound to be something out there to get the discoloration off.
