Going to get new paint

Think after all my time doing the rebuild and finally getting the bike all back together with the new paint job... I have decided and not happy about this but I was really contemplating selling the pitbull and only having the BBC. Then I realized the new paint job is not really what I had envisioned and when I get back from my "Trip" October timeframe I am going to get a new coat of paint. I blew about 2K with the frame getting a great new powdercoat.. I am going to go a different route this time and a new artist for sure..

Wow, Paul  All I can say is, think it through and know for sure what you want and envision it. Keep up with your new painter and make sure it's what you envisioned as he does it. I think you'll more happier this round...:2thumbs:

Are you using one painter or are you using a design -air brush artist and a base -top coat painter. You should be involved in the drawing from start to finish and over see the air brush work before the top coat is applied. Not all artists are necessarily good at putting down a good base coat or a great top coat so that is why I would prefer to have the best of both worlds. A good design artist will welcome your input so what you get is exactly what you want. When you are thrilled with the work he gets great reviews which means he gets more work.
Sorry to hear your not happy with what you got. I have been there and it is a sinking feeling when you first see it and realize you just spent a bunch on something you will need to change. Good luck on your next run.
