GINZ CHOPPERS/Sissy bar

On 2 April 24 I ordered a sissy bar from Ginz but have not received it yet. About 3 weeks ago I called Ginz and he stated my sissybar was at the powder coasters. That was the same answer I got when I called after 5 weeks. So far it's been about 11 weeks since I ordered the sissybar. Has anyone experienced any such issues as this. Sharkey62

About 2 years ago I called Ginz and inquired on a bar, pricing, etc. The person told me if I did place order it would be 6 weeks out. Never ordered but just a FYI. Good luck.

My experience with Ginz has been exceptional. Bear in mind they are a small shop and have no control over thier powder coater (an outside vendor).
Also they make the sissy bars on demand so its not like one isjust sitting around when you call.
Casll them back, be nice and explain the timeline to them and see what their response it.

I have one on my K-9 that on the inital SB I had the welded luggage rack break! -- they had never seen this and it was almost 2yrs old. They covered it under warranty for me -- great guys in my mind.

My experience with them has also been great, have two of their bars one for the K9 and one on the bagger. I have talked to Gin and Tonic both on the phone several times and they were both Awesome. Their products take time like Big Mike said above but they are worth the wait in my opinion. I would call them back and talk to them about your issue and they will make it right.

Thanks everyone. I plan on calling them on Monday and you are right they are very nice. And I was aware their shop being and independent business. Just didnt think it would take this long.
I’m sure it’s the powder coating. I had some small parts & rocker covers chromed and it took 9 weeks…

41Bigdawg I have an 06 k9. When I talk to gin I told him I had oem struts and he told me to order the 07 and above OEM struts. I just received the sissybar today but the ends do not go down into the struts for stability. The struts i have are tapered. So am I missing something.

BDM chamged the struts from tapered hole for sissy bar to straight hole at some point (I don't know when) but maybe Gin said change to 07 and above struts so that the hole would be straight and not tapered.
All of my K-9's have been 08's and they are all straight holes for the sissy bars.
