After a three and a half week wait I got the phone call I’ve been waiting for. “Jesse, the nitrous install on your Big Dog is complete.” MPH motorsports in Cleveland Ohio is a great race shop that tackled this project for me. Everything had to have custom brackets made and there isn’t a lot of room on these bikes to hide stuff so it was a trick to make the install look clean. It is a sunny Saturday in Ohio and I am going to go pick up the bike later this afternoon and tear up some road. I will be posting pictures and such later today... if I am not in the slammer. :2thumbs:

if the Mutt has a swingarm keep an eye on the right upright, the pivot bolt and the threaded swingarm spacer. i'm in the process of a redesign of that area.

To those of you who are not proficient in the science of nitrous oxide in a combustible engine, please save yourself the embarrassment of unfounded rants such as “You’ll blow yourself up, or enjoy it while it lasts.” Nitrous oxide has a tarnished reputation due to inexperienced people doing things they just shouldn’t be doing. First, do some research, then talk… not the other way around.

I have the smallest jets installed currently, bringing an extra 30 HP. Modifications include Woods 650 cam and W188 springs, Mikuni HSR48 Polished carburetor, Thunder Heart ignition, Whimmer 90 degree intake with HPF-1 high flow filter, RB Racing 2:1 exhaust, heads zero decked, ported and polished.

The bike brings 97.6 HP with the motor and 127.83 HP on nitrous. I was a little bummed at first until I realized that dino numbers vary so much, especially after reading some of the threads. On the road, this thing is a nasty son of a bitch!
