hey has anybody tried to change the front sprocket on the bd baker trans , i was gonna try to go down one or two on the front pulley to get a faster accelleration, low end power..does anybody know if you can change it? ive done this on my sportbike and its the cheapest most noticeable horse power you will ever get..jim

well let me refrase that ,it just makes you take off faster and get thru the gears alot quicker,so in a way it feels like extra h.p..kinda like a car ,2 cars with the same power under the hood, but one with a set of 308 gears and the other with a set of 410 gears, well the 410 is gonna smoke that car in the 1/4 mile..you gain lowend and give up topend speeds

yeah was gonna stay with the belt, was just looking to drop a tooth or 2,that would put me off the line and thru the gears fast,i believe the ratio works,1 down in the front equalls 2 up in the rear..ill have to contact baker thanks
