Guys
I'm getting a paint job and want to know if anybody has taken off the gas tank insert. (chrome Flange that screws into tank and your gas cap screws into)
I was thinking of getting a new flange, rubber washer, and cap
My research lead my to the company 'Landmark MFG"
They originally made these parts for big dog.
After speaking to them on the phone they stated that the early models that Big Dog manufactured epoxied the flange / Tank Paint protector insert into the tank???
Has any body ever taken this apart and off the tank?
I have a 2008 Mastiff
any info would help
also any recommendations to replacement parts for this
I saw stuff on JP cycles...just not sure
