Gas Cap

Project Gas Cap almost done ready for powder coat GLOSS BLACK. Also cut a paint saver ring to help protect the paint and set off the Black Cap...:2thumbs:


Cut this out of 1/8th" plate got it down to .028 at the edge just need to finish polishing it up and put it all back together.

Without a CNC it's way to labor intensive probably have 40 hrs in it, 1939 Great Bend Lathe, drill press and hand files.... Old Skool Baby!!!!

Yeah that would take a CNC Mill, Tri Start and Tri Bar would sell for sure. J&P has Tri bar's for HD I thought about buying one just to see if I could take it apart and machine the end to fit our threaded insert... If someone wants to buy one and send it to me.......

I have a couple ideas I have been working on in my down Time on the road for a tri bar and tri star.. will get started on the sample when I get home...
