well , my right gas cap was getting real hard to get off. ('O' ring was way too tight )
So I tore it apart, pulled the snap ring, and found rust inside where the torks screw attached .
cleaned it up , polished the plastic ring (actually took a fine file to it .)
well after giving it a hour of my time, it now clicks(max pressure)
with way less torque and does not compress the 'O' ring to oblivion ..
easy off , easy on .
Guess I could have bought a new one , but more fun to "fix" something
