Gas Cap Problem. Please Help

I went to unscrew my right side gas cap off today and the chrome top somehow came loose from the plastic screw in bottom. Now the cap just spins around in circles and will not even move the plastic screw in piece. What do I do now? I am at my wits end with this thing. Been one problem after another.

I had mine fly off during a ride (03 pitbull) Chrome cover went bouncing down the road and the plastic piece was still in my tank .... your going to need to remove the chrome cap by any means possible and then you can access the plastic piece ...Make sure and protect your paint job when getting down on it ..

You could always touch base with Landmark and maybe get you a new set, a set that will not swell like the old ones. These may fit, best to check with Landmark though.
