GARAGE HEAT?

I would check to see how much it will cost in electric bills. Best bet is typically a system that vents outside. Gas, propane and electric units that heat, but are ventless, produce alot of moisture in the air and everything on the bike, chrome, metal, etc. beads up with condesation on the cold days. A thermostat on the heating unit is very beneficial also, just so it does not have to stay on "high" and really put moisture out.

Makes me wonder if they also sell spark plugs that will increase your gas mileage 25%. The claims are pretty fantastical. Sounds pretty pricy for what is essentially a 1500 watt electric heater.

I use a propane salamander, combined with spraying quarts of contact cement through a paint gun while drinking brewskis. Hmmm, no wonder I can't remember anything anymore :loony:

I have a natural gas with the line plumbed right from the house. The heater is on a thermostat and in the winter I leave it at 60. It keeps the garage nice and warm and the moisture out. Doesn't take up much room hangs from the ceiling and vents through the roof.

I've found the IR jobs only good if you're right near them. I run a propane constriction heater in the garage off a 40 lbs tank. Open the door for some venting@ 100K BTUs it's nice and toasty.

I'll have to give the contact cement a try. There are some things i'd like to forget. Like the 80 year old tattooed bitch on Chopper Dave's thread.  :whoop:

Seriously, I have an 80k btu gravity style propane furnace I bought from Northern Tool Mr. Heater Propane Convection Heater — 80,000 BTU, Model# MH80CV | Heaters | Northern Tool + Equipment
Does a nice job and will run off a 20lb cylinder. A ceiling fan helps.
