Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I posted updates. I was up in arms about cam selection 585 s&s or 590 woods. But after long consideration and endless forums and many conversations with several well known shops and personalities etc. I decided against my original decisions. I decided on woods w6hf cam, woods springs, cutting jugs. Still up in arms about s&s rocker boxes and rollers, I was told I didn't have to change my tp boxes that all they needed was brass added to the guides. Thinking about s&s lifters and pushrods also. I have 5,000 miles on my 06 k9 presently. I already put grumpys twisted sister exhaust on. But feel free to chime in. I just wanna do this once and that's it.

The air flow through tose is about the worst on the market. Any intake where the air has to make a bend is bad. Then add the restrictive nose cone and it makes it horrible. You would be surprised with the difference you notice with something like the big sucker or any of the flat air cleaners. About one of the best on the market is the stock s&s with a good quality filter. I do agree though you can't beat the looks of an air cleaner like yours.
