FYI: Recall for Ridgeback rear wheel

So, finally, my wheel came in after a 4 month back order. Took my wheel over saturday and The Trike Haus swapped it out for me.

Should have only took about 15 minutes and ended taking 2 hours because the idiots junk ass tire mounter slipped and gouged the new wheel about 8-10 inches around the wheel on the lip!!!

So he spent almost a hour and a half sanding and polishing to fix it.

The biggest difference in the new wheel is that it has a smooth lip from the center of the wheel out to the edge of the lip like the 2007 and newer wheels have. My original wheel had a stip in the wheel or a "drop" for the bead to fall into when dismounting the wheel.

Looks much better now!!!

a recall is a recall. you need to contact a dealer and see if it has been done on your bike if you arent the original owner. They should replace it for you if needed.

I'm not the original owner and I don't think that the rear wheel has been replaced. Is there any chance of getting the new one in chrome??
