So I have been thinking about next May and the proposed New Orleans ride. Sure sounds like a good time but I think I am going to take the same week as the past 3 years and stay up in Deals Gap N.C. for the week riding in those areas. Missed out on Chong & Lifes ride over there but I sure would like to ride that area before my riding days come to a close. So that’s my plan for May 22thru26/2024 if anyone else wants to meet up there and do some riding. I’m just going to make reservations at Deals Gap Resort & hope for the best!

Lots of Camping and local accommodations for anyone wanting to go along. I’m a Lone Wolf though and truly won’t mind if I am by myself. Lol

I dunno their yearly dates (this year it fell on memorial weekend 26-29th)but there is a big dog group that meets the last weekend of May there...they call their event mad Mike's choppapalooza On fb u can search the Appalachian Biker Board (WV VA TN NC) for more of their yearly events. From what i understand they switch up the destination rides yearly.The guys name that I follow on that is Tophat Wade.
Could be something some of u guys would be interested in maybe so figured I'd share it
