full helmet vs 1/2 vs /no helmet

alright just bought a FF helmet for the highway cruises and its loaded with Bluetooth etc.. really fought myself at buying it but really needed something for the morning rides to work. SO this is what i bought.

BiLT - Techno Bluetooth Full-Face Motorcycle Helmet - Bluetooth - Helmets - Street - CycleGear - Cycle Gear

really looses the cool factor on the chopper.. If I had my choice I would ride no helmet at all, I was going to start a poll on this but I am pretty sure someone already did...

another head bucket in my collection

Full face is all I wear and I personally think they look pretty bad ass on any bike. Not to mention it can save your life, takes the wind out of your face along with road debris, leaves, birds, etc...

I'm wearing 3/4 with bluetooth, and sunglasses. Around town, glasses only. However, it is noisy, windy, and I'm thinking full for the next trip as well as a small windscreen.

Already had 2 accidents both on sport bikes. The ff helmet I was wearing definately saved my life.

Looking forward to retirement
When I'm in SOuth Dakota I don't use a helmet except when I am on interstate90. In Louisiana I use a 1/2 helmet in the summer and a full helmet in the winter. When I ride in Texas same as SD. All interstate driving I wear a helmet. 1/2 in summer and full face in winter. Back roads doing 34/40mph I usually ride helmet less

Well I am sold on the Full helmet. I am really happy with the helmet comfort and the blue tooth in the helmet. Really beats my 1/2 that always wants to fly off my head when cruizing.

Nice pics. I wear a full face after dumping my bike at 25 MPH on a turn. I was wearing a 3/4 and it tore off the plastic and dragged my face through 15 yards of hard dirt. Also broke off two spine bones that had to be removed by operation. If I was going faster who knows what might have happened. Wemt over a 6 inch asphalt curb. Rode it out as I didn't have time to doing anything else and I was in the marbles by that time anyway. GEICO paid for my full face helmet and fixed the bike at a cost to them of $12,500.
