Fuel tank squirting fuel.

My 2007 EFI Mastiff squirted fuel under pressure to the ground just behind the front wheel from a small black rubber tubing under the fuel tank.. I just parked the bike after a ride in Hot Weather.. It seems to be releasing tank pressure?
Also thinking there has to be pressure relief valve which isn't working properly? There seems to be no Vent on the Fuel cap?

You have a hole in the fuel line if it's squirting fuel.its installed with hose clamps. Take it off and get a new like size and install .
There was no 07 efi mastiff.you either have a bulldog or a newer mastiff. In 07 the bulldog was the only efi bike I think.
Sorry, it's a 2008 Model..
The black hose is not connected to the fuel line.. It's loose..
Its pointing downwards like a Vent pipe..

isn't that bung just supposed to have a plug in it?????????

don't know about the EFI but the carb version only has the petcock and a plugged bung for a drain on the bottom of the tank.

Did the hose just break and need replaced, it comes outta the bottom of the tank but the one with the arrows looks like its coming from the front of the bike.

Someone has modified this to vent the tank it looks like. his gas cap is probably not venting. I bet it only spews gas with a full tank. I would drain the tank and pull it out and see what the hell it is doing. It isn't in the manual.
I would plug it and see what happens. Worst case scenario you need to replace the gas cap so it vents properly.

There's no need for that to vent there and we all know that vent line breaks and if that happens while riding your gonna have a really bad day. Might need a fire extinguisher handy.

Maybe if its an extra vent line it would be a better fix rather than the gas cap vent that's always removed and then the paint bubbles. As far as safety, my gas line to the carb goes thru the jugs and I replace it every so many years and never had one break, so why not just replace the hose. Its cheap. I'm curious though to find out where the other end goes in the front of the tank.

It doesn't go anywhere... Picture is upside down. It's the same hose in both pics they looped it back up and probably just used the gas tank mount to hold it in place

When I bought the bike, it came with a Sissy bar and a Big Dog Bag..
Inside the bag was a large black canister with Harley Davidson stamped on it..
Now I'm thinking did it come from the Mastiff? and did someone remove it.. But I can't see where it would go.?
Was going to throw it in the bin but decided to keep it.. I asked the Importer about it and he's never seen canisters fitted to these Big Dogs..
Tomorrow I'll take some pics of the canister and see if anyone has seen this canister on a Big Dog..?

The hose with the fitting is at the back of the tank and the pic with the hose with arrows is by the front of the tank. Looking at it again I think the 2 hoses shown are different sizes.
