Fuel pump

Finally going to have some time to change out the fuel pump any helpful tips would be appreciated thanks

Why are you changing it out? Is it screaming? That is indicative of a clogged screen. No big deal to change. Pull the tank, remove the allen head screws on the inside to pull the plate and gasket. Remove the wires and pump...

Hey Neil apologies I had to log off yesterday i forgot my daughter had a Basket Ball game. I thought I had put this comment yesterday but i guess i didnt submit. Yea the pump started out with a scream then eventualy it went out. I had posted a thread and Erldawg and Big Dog Bro along with others guided me in the right direction. Saw your previous thread, and ordered the pump. Just now having time to work on it. weather is been great down here in my area of New Mexico so hopefuly i get to do some riding.

Yes sir Neil thanks that's what I was referring to when I posted the saw your previous thread. I should of clarified better. All of ya have been great help. Along with the service manual I printed out, I might be able to pull this off. Again thanks to all
