Fuel pump constantly running

On my 2009 K9 EFI. If I have a bad o ring on my fuel cap would this let pressure release from the tank causing my pump to run constantly.

Did that. Also the bike run great just hear that pump running. If you open the cap when the bike is running will the pump stay on till you close it to build up pressure.

Just started doing it and doesn't do it all the time.

When you turn the ignition on and pres run button the pump should run for a few seconds and than stop. Now after you start the motor pump will come on and stay on in my opinion.
Normally you do not hear it running because of the motor noise.
How can you tell the pump is running all the time with the motor running?

Pump runs for a few seconds when I hit run then turns off. When the bike starts I hear that pump even on a full tank.

That's the way it supposed to work. If you can hear it over the bike running then it may be getting ready to fail. I'll hook you up with the info shortly
