Fuel Injector, K9 2008

Hello all Big Dog owners!
I've bought and shipped to Poland the beautiful K9, 2008. Unfortunately there is an issue with KEIHIN fuel injector. One of them is not working properly and require replacement. How can I get the Part Number for it? I asked Big Dog, but no reply.

You might contact them directly as no one seems to have any in stock. This is the S&S p/n for the complete manifold, S&S 16-5140. Perhaps S&S will have some injectors? Or @ least tell you where to obtain them?

There is a screen like this pressed into the top of the injectors. You and use a sheet metal screw to pull them out and clean them out with carb cleaner and compressed air.

Once removed you can then use a 9V battery and test leads to open the injector and run carb cleaner through both directions.

I have found luck soaking injectors (if they are working at all) and then follow the above process thst @Jwooky outlined...saves you from having to buy one/or 2. A lot of time it is the gunk and build up, especially varnish from fuel sitting.

I have not had any luck looking for available stock for my 2008 K9....is there any possible replacement for it? Any help is appreciated. Screenshot 2025-03-08 at 8.18.32 PM.png

hey man, i didnt mean to fire you up but if its a question whether i tried contacting all the sites above, i already did (wildsteedworx, bigdogpartskingpin,S&S). all dont have stocks on hand. thats why im asking if there can be a replacement for it.

No worries. If you would have just said that. I would try cleaning the screen. 99% of the time it’s just junk in the screen. Good luck

Hell I work 7 days a week anyway...either here or at the shop on bikes...and I got 4 bikes to do so that kinda of screwing me being here. Plus another coming from East Tn...it will be complete strip of the bike and redoing everything all the way to new powder coat.

it felt good to get rid of those guys.. it's just easier for me to quote the jobs and do the jobs...I got 2 good guys and that all I need honestly...i still got 9 shitty ones but I got them on shit that dont matter cause there to stupid to do anything else
