fuel filter.

I'm looking for the fuel filter on my 2007 Mastiff and can't seem to find it in the fuel system. Can someone help me locate it on the bike?

Probable doesn't have one, my 2004 didn't have one i added one though.

Close as you will get will be the the filter on the fuel petcock.

EFI or carb?

Carbs don't have an additional fuel filter, they have a screen built into the petcock. EFI have a fuel filter built as part of the suction (I used to call them a sock)...although I haven't dealt with any BD EFI (just seeing the diagram)...HD EFI which I have worked on a lot of is the same way.
I have added a fuel filter before my carb to help with the crud that is in a lot of fuel now (not necessarily needed and overkill - I get it).

Yep! That’s what I have on my Vintage Sport. Works great!

Yes I put one on mine also. Under the tank, petcock on left carb on right filter in the middle.
