After seeing the thread on the junk in the tank fill neck, started thinkin again about an inline fuel filter. I know this thread has been beat up before, but still a little curious. Is the pringel still the "chosen" one or are there other ones, and do any of you take the petcock screen off after or leave it on as well? If installing an inline filter wouldn't leaving the petcock screen on just defeat the purpose of the inline filter since it would still get clogged up? Anyway still got issues, if it could cause vapor lock or not. I know this is wordy but doesn't anyone make a clear filter with surgical steel screen like the K&P oil filter?
