Hey guys got some fuel coming out of overflow hose from the carb, didn't do it till I filled the tank up, got home and it was leaking out the hose. Tryed turning off the petcock and then run the bike out of gas so it would stop then noticed that I had no oil pressure while at idel, had pressure when turning the throttle.

Just wanted to see if anyone has had this problem? I just got the K&P oil filter had it on for a couple of weeks. Bike has been runing great, till this.

If you have fuel coming out of the carb overflow line, most likely it is a stuck float valve, ride it and see if it doesn't clear up itself

Agreed, same happened to me. Took the scoot down the road a bit and the float came unstuck and has worked ever since...:2thumbs:

Well let the bike sit over night went down and started it and had oil pressure, so let the bike run out of gas. Went for a ride today and everything seemed to run smoothly.

So going to let bike run out of gas when done for the day from now on and hope that it does not leak again. Lets the float reture to normal

Sounds like fuel is leaking past your shutoff valve. You may have a bad shutoff valve. Are you sure that you're turning the fuel flow off?

Sounds like many of us have this fuel leaking problem, I am going to rebuild my carb during my winter tear down. For so many to have this problem there must be an underlying problem, I'm thinking ethanol blended fuel. It is probably deteriorating some orings in the carb. Funny thing though, never really had a problem with the supper e carb. As for the oil pressure, should be ok as long as you have pressure at higher RPM.
