I was wondering if the exhaust comes out where you put your feet down when your at a stop? I really really like them but that was my only concern.

Yes I have ripped a few pairs of pants on them while try to back the bike down other than that it doesn't interfere during a stop

Franco, I would just put the washer baffle in them. That's what I have in my BBC pipes and it works great and I don't have decell popping with these short pipes.[/

Ray do you still have bbc pipes? I have a set that came with the sled I like them but would like to get the re chromed and trying to find heat shields that work with them

I am going to add to this post as well.

Long story short, I had what I consider to have had a bad experience with FSD about 4 years ago. After 2 years of frustration I posted a "be cautious" post when another forum member expressed interest in FSD. Well Frankie contacted me immediately about my issue's. Asked me to ship the old pipes back and said he would ship a brand new set of Sinfulls. Figuring I had nothing to lose cause the old pipes were useless I sent them back. 1 week later I was installing the pipes that Frankie promised. They look and sound great.

The bigger picture is that Frankie did exactly what he said he was going to do. He made things right by me.

Good to hear I read your post and really considered your post before buying ! I had great customer service with Frankie he called me on a Friday night and was very interested on what I thought of the exhaust . I haven't had any regrets with them which is more than I can say for the 1100 mlb twisted pos pipes that I bought

I have a set I picked up from Five five last year. Ripped a few pairs of jeans but have not scraped on a corner. From the original pics it looks like yours set a little lower than mine. I'm 5'8 so I definitely know when I have put my foot in the wrong spot at a stop. I've gotten used to it.

I have the FSD sinful exhaust that I put on this winter and have never drug them at all on corners which is more than I can say for the Vance and Hines.
A right turn at any speed at all was full contact with them.

I'm part of the same bunch waiting for my pipes. Waiting on the platers also but they don't return my calls at all and I'm getting really short fused. I see you got yours which is nice to see they are getting out there but Damn I'm still waiting!

My k9 finally grew up this week!! My pipes by FSDEXHAUSTS came in and are now thundering down the road. Superb job Frankie! Love the work!

Just to put a fork in this topic...
I've now ridden several hundred miles with this exhaust, and it has not dragged yet. Not to say that it can't or never will, but it is certainly BETTER than my old V&H 2x2 as far as dragging on hard turns.

The pipes still look great and sound even better. They make my dog sound like a big dog should sound. Love it!

I realize these are old posts but I'm hoping someone knows how to get in touch with Frankie. I've got an 06 K9...my paint is flawless however, I've got a few pieces of chrome I'm replacing and a couple pieces will go for replating. My goal is to get everything back to showroom quality before finishing with a ceramic coating. I love these FSD pipes...nothing else will do it for me. Unfortunately I've been unable to contact Frankie. His site says that he's back in business and will be taking orders soon but it's been many months now without any word. If anyone is able to contact him I would greatly appreciate it.

All this talk about exhaust really makes me think about how much I dislike the V&H 2:1 I have now. Anyone have a set of big radius or something for my 08 k9 EFI ?

Ambush pipes off ebay, or the RSD ones off ebay that are a cheaper looking V&H 2:2, other than those hoping someone sells some. I just bought a set of V&H 2:2 for a project on my 09 Bulldog Bagger, they aren't bad except for the bottom pipe being dented at the outlet, but I want to get a mounting bracket made then I'll try to find a new set. After I'm done with them I'll sell them.
