FSD Exhaust

Hello...

Need some opinions, please. Did a search and found a few, but need a few more. 2004 Chopper, 107ci, left side drive. Currently, I have V&H 2 into 2, in which I have no issues. However, I have Freedom Performance Curve Radius shorties on my Yamaha Raider and they look too similar; let's face it, Big Dog is in another stratosphere when it comes to the cool factor, so I wanted to change the V&H to the FSD exhaust, who Frankie at FSD, btw, is a cool guy. For those that have been riding with drag pipes or the FSD exhaust specifically, pros and cons? Thanks for the help!

Pros:
Love the look and sound
Quality exhaust heat shields are top of the line
Cons:
They don't seal right on my bbc sled the rear exhaust doesn't align right.
Drag on right hard right turns
Burn right leg at times
Overall very pleased!

Thanks! How did you correct the rear exhaust sealing issue?

Mine are loud as fuck! I went from some worn out Mean Mothers, and the difference was drastic. The pipes are beautiful, but too loud for my taste. I'm actually changing mine out in a week or so, to a 2 into 1 system.

Paul hit the key points, I just want something quieter, especially for when I'm out riding with my wife.

Hummm...

I was told that the exhaust is mounted together, but not to the frame. Do you think that's was enough support?

Thanks
I've had mine for 3 years I like them. They are very loud and very beautiful!!! Very well made and chrome is perfect! A little bluing after a few years on the rear as the pipe is so short can't have a heat shield on the whole thing.

I'm not an aggressive rider I just like to cruise so I don't scrape them maybe once or twice

I'm not that aggressive of a rider on the Big Dog.

Thank you.

It's plenty of support, and very solid when everything is tightened. I have zero concerns about the mounting.
