i didnt lile the cones...im running the thunder baffels....still a deep sound and gets ride of some of the decel pop.

I just put the BD FC extension kit on my K9 and struggling with making everything fit at the moment.... even though "it fits a K9"
Do I mount the cones directly before the pipes or do I need an extra washer?

So glad I found this thread:up:!!!!!!!! I'am thinking about getting these pipes, and removing my much loved Martin Brothers Medusta's.......Excessive heatsoak is just cooking cam sensors for me and I have had it
..........This thread has answered all my questions..........But just HOW LOUD are these,the same as my Medusta's,and 2nd did anyone have to re-tune there carb for these?????? Thanks In advance:2thumbs:!!!!!!!!!!

What does you stainless pipes look like (pic?)? Would you be willing to sell you old pipes?

Loud would be an understatement. I can shake the inside of a car next to me. Had the big radius and since going to FSD I've started wearing beats earphones so I can hear when I get off. Love them. I know the guys riding on my right might have something to say about them though.

anybody know how or where I can still get a set of these? I've called FSD multiple times with no answer and emailed them. also found these online but it looks like a knock off FSD! kinda afraid if I got these they would turn gold and blue behind those holes in the heat shield

Hey dentdude thanks for chiming in.. Ive talked with the guy over the phone at eddie trottas shop! He told me it wouldnt be til a good while before they get anymore D2s in. Said they dont really like selling them to the public since they use them on their in house builds. I gave him all my info basically begging the dude to give me a call when they get some in. That was 2 and a half months ago....

Dentdude thanks so much for your help if it wasnt for you id be stuck with what i got for awhile. I bought those 103s lastnight. And ive contacted vicious cycle works the only exhaust they carry anymore is the stealths. The ones that look like short vance and hines. I asked them to please take all the other rsd exhaust system off since they are no longer selling them.

Yea ive been looking into the wimmer 90° velocity stack. It faces forward so hopefully no vaccum at highway speeds.
I looked at the 103's and noticed it said "local pickup". Are they shipping them to you??
I wasn't sure about proceeding with buying on eBay.

On the ebay listing it said email for shipping info. So thats what i did. If theres some sort of problem i will just get a refund. And will also ask about the heat shields!
Cool hopefully it works out for you. I must have missed that part on the shipping. I was looking at it a few weeks ago.

well!!! that plan fell thru........ I called thunder cycle designs after buying the exhaust and the guy eddie said he had no idea what I was talking about they had no 103's forsale. so pretty bummed out about that, but got a full refund. then that guy Frankie from FSD called me today left a voice mail saying he could build me a exhaust.
