I'm thinking of buying FSD 3D Sinful exhaust. I was wondering if anyone has them and what they think. Any input would be appreciated.

I really like the looks of those pipes too but I'm afraid without baffles or some kind of back pressure you would burn out your exhaust valves. I could be wrong but this is what I heard.

Sorry to sidetrack/hijack the thread but I have a related question......I love the 3D Slash version of the pipes and wonder how these pipes fit with an oil pressure gauge added to the tappet screen plug (see bottom right of this pic):

Is everyone buying these pipes directly from FSD or another vendor? I had them on my K9 in the past but ended up selling them. Now I want another set.

Thanks every one for the response. Big Dave I thought that's what you had down in Panama but I couldn't remember. That's what got me thinking about these pipes. Craig where did you get Torque cones and Dan why did you sell the pipes in the first place.

I had a dumb ass moment and sold my bike so I sold parts too. I was in some financial trouble at the time. Then I got straightened out and was able to buy my bike back. I'm running Stainless Creation pipes now but want to get another set of the FSD pipes. I love the look and sound. Plus you can shoot flames when you want!!

got my set from FSD maybe year and half ago...love the look and flame at night...i have the oil press guage with no problem.

When I bought my pipes I talked to Frankie himself on the phone, he was very up front about the turn around time on these since they were made to order at they time. I actually asked him if there was any way to put a short baffle in them and he was willing to try If I wanted. I opted for the cones which I ordered from J&P cycles, I had used them years ago when I had a Swift Bar chopper with some FTW pipes and they worked good then too.

Without some kind of back pressure you will have problems. The cones from J&P cycles sounds like a good idea. Maybe I'll go that way.
