Front knocking in rocker box

New Lifters

Swapped rocker arm(front to back and knocking still followed)

New Exhaust guides
Cam go flat?
Spring weak?
120 compression
Lost for more ideas

What lifters did you use? Was it knocking before you replaced them??

Yes it was knocking prior to swap. Actually scoped the cylinder and found that the wrist pin may be the culprit. Looks like a full tear down is the next step unfortunately.

is it the pin or is the connecting rod worn. Quick fix is new wrist pin and your riding again. But I would do a full tear down and replace your connecting rods, pistons and wrist pins. Yes it’s much more work but look how much fun it will be!
