front fork removal only

trying to remov the right front fork tube only from 06 ridgeback. i have removed front wheel, fender is clear, lower brace is clear, lower tree pinch bolts are removed. the fork doesnt want to slide out. am i missing a bolt somewhere or lock nut or do i have to beat on the top cap screw to push the fork down and out? confused

Just removed mine in my drunken state last night for some fork seals. Should almost fall out if yuo have everything un bolted.
