FRONT END QUESTION?

Energy One
I have an 05 pitbull and it seems to me only by looking at different pictures that my bike might have longer forks or maybe different triple trees or something. I don't know the history on the bike so...the distance from the top of the dust covers to the bottom of the lower triple tree is 12 inches..comparing that to differnt 05 pits (pics only) it just seems like my front end is way on out there and the forks have alot more showing...So my question is, any pit owners out there have the same kind off fork distance?

so there is 12 inches from top of dust seal to bottom of lower triple tree...do you think this is in stock form? thanks

Does your kick stand have a extension on it?
That might be a good clue? Yes from just a picture the forks look a little longer.

Looks like he has a heel on it. Seen that somewhere else.....hmmm.

ok,,so like the forks lowers look like original bdm forks, maybe someone swaped them for longer ones or can you buy longer fork tubes? just curious..any way it looks bad ass in person, really makes the bike long and it seems to be a one off as far as pitbulls are concerned...so ok with me..chris

just a heads up, with the forks changed comes more angle for the oil tank. this could cause the oil to flow more to the back of the bike when accelerating which cause the oil pump to loose its prime. apparently this has not happened, which is a great thing. just file the info away for future reference.

thanks i will be cautious of that,,the bike when sitting on sits pretty much level, longer forks but its not like the engine and fram are angling upwards, it actually looks just about correct...i think whoever did it put some thought behind it...but excellent point man ...thanks chris
