Front End Click

Hey Guys
I have a click when turing my handlebars with the bike sitting still. I can't tell if its coming from the caliper, forks or triple tree. There is no play in the triple tree and the wheel & tree bearings were replaced last year and everything seems tight. Is this a normal sound?
Thanks
Sam

:agree:That was my first thought even though it was replaced recently.
Take it up to 90+ mph and see if you get a death wobble then you will know. The wife kept saying something was wrong with the bike and I blew it off. We passed a line of cars doing about 110 and got the death wobble.... Found out the lower bearing was in pieces.... Lucky we made it....

Tighten the pinch bolts on your triple tree and check the large bolts on the top of the tree. Had this same noise with my K-9! Pretty common on bikes in general!!! Well Samuel what have you found out so far?

Click update, pulled the triple tree apart and found bearing and races ok, disassembled the forks and found the flat washers missing between the spacer tubes on each side, problem solved.
Rebuild on the forks was done by the local HD dealer last year, should have done it myself!
