I figured at some point I would cut/grind off the whole ear and repolish the tree but it hasn't bothered me enough to do so after I plugged them.I have a buddy that removed his and I don't really like the look, kinda looks like something is missing, just my opinion though.

Great ty!I bought a Thunderheart MHC (controller used in RIP, and new BDM's) and scratch wired the bike so I just eliminated them.
Prior to that though I just de-pined the connector at the signals and fed the wires back through the forks and coiled them under the tank. Make sure you tape the pins up, so they don't touch anything.
