I have a 2007 Bulldog EFI and all of sudden it started missing and I thought I would throw it out here what is happening before I really tried to troubleshoot seeing how I am working from 3am to 3:30pm. Went to put gas in it when I got off and while it was idling it started sounding really off. Gas station was just about a 1/2 mile from the house so I took it anyway. Power way off and only sounded like it was hitting right when it got up around 4k rpm.
Filled it up and brought it home.
Pulled the front cylinder plug wire off and it had a weak spark when I put it to the plug. Put it on and when I pulled the rear jug plug bike would die instantly.
Took my girlfriend out in the truck and had a cold one to let the bike cool off. Got home and put another set of old plugs in. Fired the bike up and the same miss. Pulled the front plug no change, pull the rear plug wire bike dies instantly.
That is the story.
Bike is EFI and no map changes.
I have another crank position sensor but I would think if it died or acted up I would have no fire.
Tell me what you think and I appreciate to advice....
Coil? Crank position sensor? Plug wire?...or other.....
Thanks in advance..
Neil
