Front Brake Lever

When I leave my bagger out in the sun for awhile, the front brake lever doesn't return all the way and this causes the brake lights to stay on. When the bagger is parked in the shade or the garage for awhile, it works normal again. I know I most likely have to rebuild the master cylinder but I am curious why this happens in the first place?

I’m going guess just to mess with your head and give you something to work on…

It might just be the heat causing things to expand and making the lever a little tight. Remove the right mirror, then knock the bushing out. Lube the bushing and the hole in the lever and put it back together. Maybe spray a little lube in the housing where the lever rides. That might take care of the problem.
