Frame ??

Sold my 04 Chopper and picked up a 2006 Chopper. trying to find out what frame I have now? Daytec or Rolling thunder. How can you tell. The ignition cover goes through the frame and has a polished cap on the right side of the bike.

Rolling Thunder frame has a Maple leaf on top motor mount.

If you have the RT frame your VR will be relocated underneath the motor-mount.

Easiest way to tell, is to look at the front motor mount. If the engine is mounted to the frame it is a Rolling Thunder. If the front motor mount is aluminum and your forward controls are mounted to it too, it is a Daytec

BDM started making there own frames about that time based on the Daytec design.

I determined that I have a BDM frame on my 05 Chopper, very similar to the Daytec but has a few differences, was a while ago I researched it so I don't remember off hand what they were.

My 05 had a RT frame till I broke it coming home from Sturgis. Guess wife was to heavy! . BDM replaced it with there own frame
