Forward Control Frame Bolt

I was giving all my bolts a go over, after an Interstate ride and when I was tightening the Left side Forward control, I snapped the Allen Head off.. I know I can pull the Shifter Control off and pull the bolt. But would like to know the Bolt size, so that I can replace it while I have it off.. with out having to take a trip for the replacement Bolt...

It's a 3/8'' bolt, but you will have to measure the length.

1/2-13 x 2-1/2" SHCS, zinc. Says -08 Manual, in case we think about the same bolt.

Get you're self an inch pound torque wrench and avoid the unhappiness

And don't forget locktite! It's ur friend

If those bolts had loctite on them and they should, when your moving them your breaking the seal of the loctite. Download a manual and use it.
