Great post there, I got mine scooter knowng it need a lot of help, scrubbing, polishing, waxing, and riding on occasion. It wasn't till I got on this forum where I found out it didn't have shocks!!!!:D,,. These scooters are just like anything else I have found mechanically. Take care of them properly, and the less you mess with them the better in most cases they act. I like the waxing and polishing thing as well, but I know any thing and everything from time to time needs replacing and or fixing. If you take care of stuff as they happen it tends to be much less headache, than letting little stuff snowball into big stuff. :2thumbs:

8 years with my Mastiff and that loving feeling is still there. Best motorcycle I have ever owned and over the years have met and rode with a lot of forum members. Awesome Big Dogs, people and experiences on Big Dog Biker.

Great post, as a new 05 Chopper owner, I cant agree more. Know what your getting before you buy. I researched all known issues before I bought my Dog, and went into it knowing all "normal" issues with the 05. And I'm ready to deal with anything that comes up to keep her running, its all worth it!!!!!
