Mine are 26 1/4 inches end to end. Are those prices for a set or each??I haven't but here is something to compare it against.
Fork Tubes
Don't know what the Mastiff length is but I know I can get them for the same prices.
Thats a bummer but these steep angles on our BDs do wear the hell out of fork tubes. What length do I need for my 2006 K-9 ? I put the rebuild kit you sent me in yesterday, but found this on one of the forks. I buffed it and it works fine but at the next service I want new tubes in as well as new head bearings. Heading to Daytona in the morning so needed the bike back together for now....
Very good, I had a suspicion about 12" over but wanted to make sure. If your head bearings are Timken I need a set of those as well. But how in the world does one replace the race (L44619) on those?Thats a bummer but these steep angles on our BDs do wear the hell out of fork tubes.
You would need these:
Fork Tubes
We have the bearings and races available also.
Sign me up for one of those tools. :2thumbs:They are Timken
On K9 you pop out the cup and then press out the race.
I'm getting ready to put a cool tool on our site for just this task.
It will press races out on welded cups and press out the cup on non-welded cups
Went 6" over and used fbf tubes. Bolted right up, Threads perfect. sanction tube hardware fit fine too. He's still top dog. Buy with confidence.Has anyone gotten fork tubes from Frank? Just wondering how they compare in quality n price....???
Dam good price guys. :2thumbs: I have ordered tubes from J & P Cycles and paid way more than what the Curtis asking for a chrome set. :2thumbs:I haven't but here is something to compare it against.

It in screws. Use a rubber strap wrench. Before assembly clean the threads and put anti-seize on the threads. You should clean them out regularly especially if you ride in the rainHi Folks,
