It works for me.:D Punched a couple holes and threaded a reusable zip-tie on both sides. Reenforced zip-tie anchoring points with a couple pieces of flexible plastic. Used a heated needle point to melt holes in the plastic so zip-ties could be threaded through. Removed carrying strap and velcroed unit patch to bag.

Its clean and neat, but I would keep my eye on the zip ties from the bouncing and vibration over time.

This forum is great! Very good advice given and appreciated. Thanks for all your opinions and comments too. Stay tuned because my next mod might make you laugh or cry. Depending if you are a real mechanic or mechanically challenged, like me. Pat

Maybe swap the plastic zip ties for metal ones and wrap a thin rubber liner between the tie and the fork to limit risk of breaking while riding as well as reducing rub marks. Over all great work

Looks good....but why not put the tools in your rear bag.
Hi Coachk,
Good question. :D Because I mounted the tool bag before I thought of mounting the rear storage bag. I still have some work to do on the rear storage bag. I gotta figure out how to secure a larger/heavier bag and keep the clean look. Hey! The Right brothers built the first plane and other people built upon their idea! Take care, Pat O.
