Where can I find a fork seal kit for my 05 chopper? I found some 41mm seals, but then comes the question; What size exactly? 41 x ?? x?? And do they come as kits with all the dust seals and such? :bang:

If you've neglected the seals for a long time the Teflon wears off and then starts eating into the chrome on the tubes. Your manual on the 05's says to change every 10,000 miles. I had to get new tubes cause I wore mine through.

Ops, meant bushings not seals

When the seals were changed the bushings should have been changed as well.

Also if you're not very careful when installing the new seals you can damage them while slipping the new seals onto the fork tubes. You should tape up the areas of the fork tube (I used duck tape) that have sharp edges (usually the ends of the tubes). Spray the tape with WD and slide the new seals on.
