Well, Don't beat me up too badly boys but the old '03 Chopper was lonely so I sinned and bought an '06 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper. They are coexisting fairly well, but I think the Dog gets pissed when I leave her home and ride the Ironhorse. I take the Ironhorse when I'm out with my girlfriend, when I'm flying solo it's usually on the Dog. She a jealous bitch but she sure does give me a good ride when she's jealous !!! Just got to remember which bike I'm on, the Dog scrapes her kickstand on the left and the Ironhorse drags the Vance & Hines big radius lower pipe on the right. So can I still play here ? LOL ! And the Dog does handle a bit better if you're wonderin', Shoo

I like the Dog more, it just feels better to me, lighter and the better handling. The Ironhorse is nice too, maybe a little better ride quality and the dual discs up front are nice. It's a close race though. The seat on the Dog is more comfortable too. Good thing is the chicks go crazy over both of them !!! The Harleys don't get a second look but all the girls want their picture taken on the choppers. They do draw a lot of attention from everyone....Shoo

My barn has one Dog, one Hog & two Horses. Love them all. The 03 Pit Bull was my first, and has the most (enjoyable) miles. The two Iron Horse (LSC ~ also rigid) just love the stretch chopper. The Harley, is the only one the Girlfriend will ride, she has something against stick on seats, and it's the only soft tail.

Sounds like AA are holding their value worse than BD.

That's funny Randy, :oldlaugh: yea all choppers are cool and everything, but in "my" opinion there is no custom or production choppers that compare to a Big Dog! :oldnono: I love all kinds of bikes and I think everyone should ride whatever it is that they like, that's what it's all about right? It's about expressing yourself by riding what you think (not others) is the baddest ass machine on the road for whatever type of riding it is you are doing,:yesnod: so that being said, again in my opinion, the look and way the Dogs are constructed is unmatched by any other bike on the road, now I am not saying that they didn't go cheap on some of the parts, we all know that, all I know is when I stand back and look at my bike it just has something no others have, :yesnod: it is a Bad Ass Big Dog brother and I love it! :whoop::whoop::whoop:Congrats on the bikes and you are forgiven! :oldlaugh:

Thanks guys. It is unbelievable that you can buy a chopper right now for under $6000. I think it's a great time to grab them because I think the market has hit bottom and things probably will start going up in value, maybe. I wanted to build my own chopper a few years back but was looking at about $15k for what I wanted, and that was just for basic stuff and a decent paint job. But at $6k how can you go wrong ? I'd think even parting out some of these bikes you could make a few thousand. Grab a back up bike boys......Shoo
